Mid May Miscellaneous

We made a quick morning trip over to Leander to babysit my niece Braelynn for a few hours. I really didn't have to do anything at all but play lifeguard from a cushy chair. The boys tag-teamed and took care of nearly everything. They are going to be good big brothers to our little girl.

She loves it when Aaron reads to her. I'm fairly certain they went through her entire stash.

The next morning we went to the dentist! It was Adam's first time. He did really well!
It was our first time to our dentist's new office. Complete with tv screens mounted to the ceiling and headphones for the kids. Turns them into zombies.
"Hey Mama, I look like you!" Complete with mid-drift showing and struggling to hold up the giant basketball attached to the front.
"Mama, take a picture of me!" One of his favorite things is sorting socks.

And then it started raining again...real rain this time... for days. There was massive flooding everywhere around Austin. We didn't see the sun for two weeks straight.
Aspen, newly kicked out into the backyard until winter, was a little soggy. I think she's tired of the wet.
Daddy sighting on the news!
Then the tornadoes started. And by started, I mean several touchdowns per storm, per day. It was nuts.
So we spent some time in the closet. They weren't too thrilled with our middle of the night adventure.
Pflugerville didn't fair well... or at least this building didn't. (this was wind related, not tornado)
