Visitors and Park Playing

With the exception of a late May trip to San Antonio, this post sums up the remainder of May. It's a mash of playing and visitors.

Watching Alan work is one of my favorite things to do.

My sister made her first trip to visit us with baby in tow. Braelynn was about seven months old. The boys loved playing with her and excluding Adam's occasional loud sounds, she handled the handling well.

So sweet. She hardly ever gets grumpy when he holds her.

Adam would rather play than cuddle. So teasing with RooRoo seemed to make the most sense to him.

In order to give Aunt Jenny a bit more time in the morning, we took our breakfast to the porch.

Aaron almost single-handedly attended to Braelynn while we waited for Aunt Jenny to get her hair cut. Him and Adam took turns reading her stories.

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went on a pre-dinner walk at Berry Springs Park.

Aunt Jenny helped with our lessons while she was here since I had very little voice, thanks to allergies.

A few days later Granny and Pa came up for a visit. We also took them to Berry Springs.

The boys and I met some friends from our homeschool group at the Quarry Splash Pad. It was the first time we had been there. Interesting place. It's a neat concept, but had there been a lot of kids I can only imagine the injury possibility there. Everything is made of rock and concrete. It was a little chilly and the public schools were still in session, so there were not many people there.

We recorded this one evening while Alan was at work. He was on a call so we could not have our normal pre-bed facetime chat... so we made this video and sent it to him...

We have rabbits in the backyard. We believe they live under our shed building. Hayley is not fond of these rabbits and gets easily irritated whenever they scent the air. In fact she finds it difficult to do anything else or listen at all when the smell of bunny is in the air. She gets a little crazy and squishes down under the shed. I caught one of her panic bunny hunts on video...
