Central Texas Air Show

On May 3 we went up to Temple for the Central Texas Air Show. It is one of our favorite outings. We get there early enough to wander around and see all of the static displays and the show planes up close. Then we get some lunch and find a spot to wait for the air show to start. It was pretty hot this year, so we hung in as long as we could.

At the National Museum of the Pacific War booth they had a bunch of old military paraphernalia and a really neat old Jeep, which the boys immediately climbed in and started a pretend war.

They were hot and bothered at this point.

We left shortly after Tora! Tora! Tora! because it was just too hot and sadly, the amount of time between demonstrations was annoyingly long and rapidly losing the boys attention. Good show.
