Stacer Days: Catch-up from March

Here's a hodgepodge of photos and quick stories from the month of March. I didn't take many photos so I've included a few from my phone - which is just easier sometimes.

This was how Adam chose to bring my shoes to me. He's quite proud and claimed they almost fit. It won't be long.

Grandma gave us these eggs for Easter that when "soaked in water for 48-72 hours" would hatch a duck that would continue to grow if left in the water. Well the egg took almost a week to hatch open and the mechanics were merely a fancy little duck made from sponge material and a permeable shell of sorts. The boys had fun checking the egg thirty-five times a day and were pretty excited when the duck popped out.

Adam is known for taking five minute naps while they play.

We got a last minute invite from our neighbor-friends to a random Monster Truck Car Crush at a Dodge dealership in Georgetown (3.21.13). Though we are not of the Monster Truck crowd, we figured the boys would enjoy it and it was close enough to home that there wasn't much to lose.

They did the "crush" in a field behind the dealership. There were no ropes or barricades just the monster truck, some condemned cars, and a group of onlookers... very close on lookers. The boys were excited and caught off guard by the loudness. They were so moved, they are still running through pretend monster truck car crushes, noises and all. (Video of the "Crush.")

They were quite proud of themselves.

Adam had a stomach bug for a few days toward the end of March. After a few eruptions, we decided not to take any more chances and created a well protected sleep zone.
