Between then and now

I've been a bit out of the loop since the Colorado trip. Perhaps all of the time spent on those photos and posts did me in and I subconsciously took leave. We are back and quite a bit has happened since then, however, for reasons unknown, there has not been very much documentation. So in rough chronological order, I'll speed through the past month and a half.

Starting with... a morning at Lake Georgetown on 8.5.2012

We've been wanting to go play on the swim beach at Lake Georgetown for a while and since the mornings were starting to cool off it seemed like a good time to go. The boys brought their buckets and shovels and played in the little rocks the whole time and Alan and I took turns swimming around in the deeper water.

Then there are some play photos to share, just ones I've taken while we are at home messing around....

The boys were excited the day their London Olympics shirts came from Uncle Matt and Aunt Fi (who live in Oxford, England).

Team GB, by association.
A couple of weeks later we spent a morning at Cabela's. There are a lot of animals (mostly stuffed) to see there and a cute little cafeteria for lunch. The boys (all three) seem to enjoy it and always want to go back. I had a nice Elk burger for lunch.
Pointing out a turtle, one of his current favorites.
Pointing out the elephant, which he obsessed over for the remainder of our time there.
Adam was worried about the manikin "flying" the plane. He kept saying, "uh oh, look at that guy."
I'll post more "catch up" next time, as this post is getting a bit long.
