At Costco... I thought long and hard for a reason to buy this
guy, but I could not come up with one. Adam found him fascinating too.

We finally went to check
out the Georgetown Public Library a couple of weeks ago. It has been such a long time since I've had a
library card... since University really, so the nice older lady at the counter
had to talk me through everything. While I was standing there, I look over to
see Aaron doing a happy dance in the middle of the lobby and then he ran up to
me to say, "Mama, they have an old military Jeep in that room!" Sure
enough, in the Children's room they have a gutted and boarded in Jeep that the
kids can climb on it. The Jeep made it a little more difficult for them to
focus on book selection.
One of their latest fun things... riding on the plasma car
together. Adam tells Aaron, "I wanna go for ride on Plama Car."
Which roughly translates to, "Please drive me around, and hold The
RooRoo too, because I have to hang on for dear life."
While at Wal-Mart, they saw the fan and beach ball display and
wanted to try it out for themselves. Adam is yelling, "Come back
balloon," in case it is unclear.
Our first sprinkler action
of the summer... Adam was a bit tentative at first, but watched Aaron closely
and as usual, did exactly as he did. They ran in and out, helped Alan pull the
hose around the yard and made lots of excited noises.
Then they got distracted when Alan began to fill the deer water
bucket. I think Adam was convinced it was sitting in the yard for this very
purpose...
Then Aaron doused him for a
few minutes...And they finished filling it up...
