Settling and exploring

I am looking forward to getting back to reporting on the "everyday exciting" of our life... so we'll start with a few photos of what seems our new "normal."

Breakfast...

Here is a little peek at the kitchen and eating area. It is close to being finished... needs trim, back-splash, and hardware, but already looks pretty dang good in my opinion (tooting a horn for my husband).

Just across the street from our Wal-Mart and Home Depot is Rivery Park, a hub for the trails that link Lake Georgetown and the San Gabriel River, and also home to a snazzy little playground and pavilion. 

Baby Adam looked a little more "drunk" than usual, as he has trouble navigating uneven ground.
