April Part 3 (of 3)

The last week of April....

This is hilarious to me. He loves to hear the music that plays on these math games.

Our year and a half old puppy Aspen is an outside dog. She lives in the laundry room in the winter, but when the nights are warm enough, she gets sent outside. Alan went through the trouble of moving the giant doghouse up here from Boerne when we moved because at the time our previous dog used it and it all worked out nicely. We couldn't get Aspen to sleep in it, she prefers to lay outside the back door so that she is close by, should someone decide to let her dirty buns come in and take over the house. 

It was a group effort and I'm happy to report that it worked.

So, in a last ditch effort, Alan moved the doghouse closer to the house, situated up on a hill of sorts so that the little princess could look out over her domain.

Aaron's latest Lego creation. He's getting pretty good. I'm not exactly sure what it is but it probably has something to do with Star Wars. 

On the last day of April, we went to a cool spot at a nearby park to have a picnic and play in the water. 

Alan fly fished for fun (it was mainly small fish), the boys romped around, got totally soaked, and dammed up the water because that's what boys do. Autumn and I hung out and she enjoyed her afternoon meal alfresco.
