Happy Birthday Daddy!

Since we were in San Antonio over Alan's birthday, we had a little family celebration when we got home.

I really do love these guys. How can one girl be so blessed?

Ok, so it was horrible lighting but I needed an obligatory pose-with-cake photo.

That afternoon we played outside and relaxed. The weather was perfect and the boys found a renewed interest in mud pies and various other mud-baked items.... 

He was particularly fond of his donut, although the longer they worked at it, the better their creations became.

After a little car ops, there was some snuggling time. Aspen survived her first stint at home without humans. Thankfully a couple friends helped out with her and she didn't take anyone out or destroy the place, so maybe there's hope for her.
