Sometime in late October, the boys and I went to San Gabriel Park to have our pictures taken for our homeschool group's yearbook. Here are a couple... they came out so well!!

| We milled around a bit afterward. |
In late October, early November Adam began taking bike riding seriously. Seriously enough to pedal himself and not fall over with every move of the handlebars. However, it is Adam that we are talking about, so we had to take additional safety measures....

| Yes, we know the bike is too small, Aaron's hand-me-down would come at Christmas. |
Adam on a bike...
| Big man, riding in the street (here he borrowed Aaron's bike and it worked much better)! |
| Our backyard Christmas card photo. |
| Our neighbor friend's birthday party. They had a reptile man come! |
| Oh allergies. |
I finally decided to clean out my bookcase in the front room and paint it. Its original condition was glossy, dark wood paneling, so I had to use several coats of "Gripper" and several coats of paint/primer before it was all done.
Alan had a giant load of mulch delivered so that we could spread it around the boys' playground area. It didn't take long for the deer to smell the pecan shells.

| Pecan mulch all spread out. |
| Poor baby Adam, the allergies would not leave him alone. |
| Random Costco photo. |
| The Brothers Goob. |
| My niece Braelynn. She had just started smiling! |
What had originated as a bookcase repaint, turned in to a front room overhaul. This is the room where we do our school work and where guests sleep if they come. I picked a happy new color and we got a few new book shelves.

| Cool guy at Cabelas. |
Just for fun... Alan often plays his animal call app to make Hayley howl. We finally got good documentation of it....
