In mid-May we took a brief trip down to San Antonio. The first afternoon we were there we went to "Grandpa's work" (a.k.a. Fiesta Texas). It had been a while since the boys went and we knew they were a bit taller and could possibly ride a few more rides.
The biggest surprise was that Adam (our three-year-old) was tall enough [>42"] to ride the Road Runner Express, a fast steel coaster with a mild drop, but without any inversions. Adam sat with Alan, who had to hold his chest and head up during the ride because although he was tall enough, he didn't have the strength to hold himself up. Aaron sat with me and yelled most of the time. I had to support his head as well.

| At the end Adam kept saying, "That was not good." He was a little freaked out by his first roller coaster... but I'm pretty sure when given the next chance, he'll ride again. |

On Sunday, which was Mother's Day, we wandered around the new arm of the Riverwalk, which Alan and I had yet to see...

We went to Alamo Cafe for lunch and hung out for the rest of the day...
The boys got in a couple kitchen-helper jobs while we were there...
