May Miscellaneous

After completing the other blog posts I realized that I have quite a few leftover miscellaneous photos that were worth sharing.

Aaron and Daddy made a huge Lego ship and Adam, in true little-brother-fashion, pushed it off the table. Aaron was pretty upset.

So I did my best to rebuild what they worked on since Alan was on shift. He was happy... crisis averted, for now.

We met Aunt Jenny at the San Marcos Outlet mall one day...

At the Disney store taking inventory of the "Planes" merchandise. They are counting down the days until that movie comes out.

Showing off their new undies. Believe it or not we do feed them... quite a bit.

So, our dog Hayley is a bit crazy. One of her funniest quirks is that she occasionally thinks she is invisible. We have a well developed group of privets in the backyard that she sometimes hides under to get away from bugs. She will walk up next to the privets and start moving in slow motion, creeping, as though she's stalking prey. Then she slowly lifts her paws up over the rocks, one at a time and sticks her head in the privets...

Then, still moving in slow motion, she will creep her way inside the hedge. All the while, should you yell her name during this, she will not come, because she is invisible. 

And she will stay in there for quite a while, standing perfectly still and if you hadn't watched her go in, you'd never know she was in there. Crazy dog.

It's baby deer season on Mesa Drive. There are babies everywhere and they especially like our new grass.

The kick-off party for the Summer Reading Program at the library. There was a talented clown making balloon animals who drew a huge crowd.

We attempted a slip-n-slide.... Aaron could not get past the idea that you had to run and jump, landing on your chest. 

So we tried some other techniques... 

And he still had fun, in his own way...

And eventually resorted to laying in the pool at the end.

Adam doesn't care for things that shoot water at him, so this is as close as he got...
