April

April was nice and cool in central Texas. We spent a lot of time outside....
The boys one of the John Deere's.
Berry Springs hike.
Notice the "albino" bluebonnets in the front. A rare and pretty find.
We put rye seed down in the backyard this winter and it made it look so nice!
Daddy's birthday cake and its designer.
We went to play at Lake Georgetown for a couple of hours...
All three boys playing in the water. One was fishing... which is kind of like playing.
Aaron was hauling water back and forth for some construction operation.
And Adam was throwing rocks in the water because that is what he loves to do....
Very serious.
The weather was unseasonably cool, low forties and even a few thirties at night, we had to insulate Hayley a bit, who had already been kicked out at what we thought was the end of winter. Alan crafted this beautiful number out of an old hunting sweatshirt. It worked quite well.
For a few days Aaron was convinced sweeping pollen up on the driveway with the push broom was fun. I was all for this version of fun.
Silly little men awaiting the bedtime routine.
There are two booboos here, both from separate incidents. The road rash on his nose only lasted a couple of days thankfully.
It worked for a couple of passes before the tractor started peeling out. Aaron was quite proud of himself for being such a big help.
A little something Alan pulled out of the ground with a good amount of manual labor and a little help from the 212.
Our audience while working in the yard.
And a quick trip to the station for lunch with Daddy.
