Whenever possible, we are outside. Alan usually has something going on that we can help with or get in the way of. No backyard play time is complete without pretending to drive Daddy's mowers...
The most interesting finch visited our feeder, upon looking it up we discovered he was a Painted Bunting, and believe it or not, is native to this part of Texas. After laying sod and covering it with top soil, it was impossible to keep the boys from playing in the fresh, nice mud, so why bother...
They were pretending to cook things in the little, slightly warm mud puddles.

We had to run an errand one morning and had some extra time before lunch, so we stopped at Rivery Park to run around for a bit...
