What we've been up to....

My parents came up for a quick visit at the end of June and I am just now publishing the photos...

Grandma took over story time duties while Grandpa attempted to use his new phone to take photos. 

The next morning we went to the Splash Pool. Here's both my boys being punks...

Adam became obsessed with the giant lady bug, so Grandma and I took turns getting sprayed in the face so he could play over there.

Fast forward a few days. The boys playing in the driveway...

Our old house didn't have a cement driveway so Aaron never had a good surface for sidewalk chalk. He had fun for about four minutes, then wanted to move on to something else.... something with wheels or a motor...

Like a trike that he can scoot around instead of pedal (grrr!).

He is so tough for a boy that won't pedal.

Then there's this guy... the other morning as Aaron was sitting at the table eating he said, "Mama, there's a bird statue on the fence." Confused, I looked out and saw our resident hawk posing on the back fence. He hung out for a while and then took off after a squirrel. We see him every other day or so.
