A long time coming... we finally took our first ride as a family of four! We picked up a couple of additional car seats, so that we could leave them in the Jeep, in hopes that we would use it more often if the seats were semi-permanently installed.

Aaron was beside himself, which manifests as him being really quiet. Adam did much better than I expected. I've been rolling his window down when we go out to get him used to air blasting in his face, and it must have helped. A couple of times he turned his head when it seemed like too much.
We drove around Jim Hogg Park and Russell Park, a couple of parks at Lake Georgetown. The lake was even lower than it was last week when we saw it. It is a really nice lake that seems pretty quiet, as most people probably opt for the more popular Lake Travis.
My little men in the backseat... many more fun Jeep rides to come!
