Easter

I've finally come to a place where I can sit down at my computer and do something completely unrelated to unpacking, house work, painting etc. I know many of you would probably rather hear about the move and the process we are experiencing, however I am a stickler for order, so the posts will remain chronological... so here's to flashbacks...

Alan had to work on Easter Sunday so the boys and I went over to my parents' house for dinner and an egg hunt.

Grandpa getting some play time in before dinner...
Aaron checking out his Easter "basket."

Adam showing off his moves. When Aaron was his age, he would go over to the wall, hold on while carefully navigating the step down. Adam just mows right over the step and surprisingly, the majority of the time he lands on his feet and keeps on rolling.
Adam's loot...
Aaron's first experience with a kaleidescope. Maggie noticed there was a tennis ball in the bag.
The tennis ball went with two Velcro mitts for a toddler-proof game of catch.
Adam loves vehicles too...
Grandma set up an egg hunt in the backyard. Aaron made for the largest egg first...
He ate the spoils as he went along. Wheat crackers and goldfish.
Adam had a few eggs to "hunt" as well. Although he could barely navigate the uneven terrain of my parents' backyard, he thought it was great.
Aaron had to ensure that Adam was not getting any of his eggs.
Adam would trek out for an egg and slowly take it back to Grandpa, who helped him open it.
Adam's prize: oat rings.
Grandpa and Adam on a walk break... so cute.

Brief update... All is well and we are quickly adapting to our new home, environment, and town. We have found some neat places and managed to go to IKEA three times in the span of one week :) We've been to visit Daddy at the fire station twice already and plan to make that a regular thing. We have a few visitors already. Alan is still going back to Boerne often to tie up loose ends with the old house and get it ready to sell. There are plenty of photos and stories to share, but please be patient.
