In an effort to clear up some of the confusion, we still live in Boerne. We own a house in Georgetown, Texas that is currently under semi-extensive renovation. Since Alan is doing 99% of the work himself, it has not been an "overnight" project. To give you a brief peek into the project, here's our new kitchen... use your imagination.... sink on the right wall, range on the back wall, fridge on the left, island in the middle, new skylight above.
Meanwhile, back in Boerne, I'm slowly packing and filling our garage with boxes ready to be taken to Georgetown. Aaron and I regularly discuss moving and every day he comes up with a new list of things that he needs to ensure are coming to the new house with us. On that list is almost always "Baby Adam, my trike, my books..." It is cute. He looks at the renovation photos and videos with us and recognizes his new house and yard.
A couple of milestones...(I promise photos and videos very soon!)... Adam took about ten steps last night! He is so brave and not really afraid to self-inflict pain or fall into whatever may lie in his path.... which can be both good and troublesome. Aaron now regularly goes poopoos in the toilet... we are still working on peepees (he pees every ten minutes, if not more, so this may take us a little longer to master "holding it").
