Grandma and Baby Adam...
We acknowledge that the intended Christian meaning of Easter has nothing to do with eggs and thankfully we don't have to hunt for Jesus... especially not in the front yard. However, a toddler hunting for eggs, is entertainment for all... hence, Aaron's first Egg hunt. I had every intention of doing an egg hunt for him last year but after a dry run I determined he was not intersted. This year he knows what eggs are, loves to be outside in the grass, and is very serious about finding things. So, we started simple... next year he'll have to work for it. No, (family) the eggs did not contain chocolate, but instead we filled them with animal crackers, goldfish, and banana chips... Aaron's favorite snacks.
My parents came over a little early for dinner and we all took to the front yard, gave him a bag, and told him to find the eggs. He loved running around like a goober and proudly showing us his findings.
Daddy assisting in snack extraction...
Grandma cuddling the big little one (he looks so much bigger when my mom holds him)...
Grandpa watching the craziness from the porch...
Pure joy...

Here's a video montage of the event. It is a bit long, but I wanted to give our extended family "the whole experience" as best as I could...
One last photo... of me and my big boy.
