Aunt Jenny

My sister and her husband came down last week for a visit. Jenny and Grandma dropped in while Aaron was napping, one day early last week. It has been a couple of months, at least, since Aaron has seen Jenny and since then has developed quite a stranger-danger philosophy for anyone that he does not see at least every couple of weeks or so. So, when Aunt Jenny came in with me to get him up from his crib, he was immediately on alert and plastered to my shoulder, squeezing me tightly with all fours.

I passed him off to Grandma, who was sitting next to Jenny on the couch, in hopes that he would warm up to her more quickly.
I told Jenny to start reading his Jeep magazine and that he may become interested and peel himself off Grandma to have a peek.
Then she got out her phone and found a picture of a bus, one of Aaron's new favorite things, and suddenly he forgot he was worried in the first place.

By the end of it, he was operating the photo function on her phone and he decided that Aunt Jenny is okay after all.
