Two nights ago Alan and I were sitting down to watch TV for a few minutes and decided to leave Aaron to play in his playpen, as it seemed like he was happy in there. The playpen's current location is behind the love seat, out of sight from the couch. Aaron was making silly noises and crashing toys together as usual, then it got quiet, and next thing we see is Aaron's head popping up over the top of the love seat. He has figured out that standing on toys and pillows makes him taller, so he was reaching up over the love seat giggling with self-amazement. It was pretty funny, not only how resourceful he is becoming, but also how proud he is of these new daily accomplishments. From this newly discovered vantage point, not only can he see us, but he also has a visual on the dogs and the TV.
