Many Firsts

So I guess he thinks he is all grown up now, world traveler and all... (Alabama is a whole other world...really)... because we got home and this week we have already tackled two major milestones. First came last night when he slept in his crib for the entire night. It was, by far, harder on me than him - as I am quite certain he didn't know any different. Alan said, "it is not like he is going to Kindergarten you know." I don't even want to think about that right now! He only woke up once after he scooted around in a 180 and pulled his covers off. Once I righted him he went back to sleep.

Then today we started "solid" food, which for those who know, is not so solid. It was not the momentous occasion that I thought it would be. It was fun, yet strangely laborious. He didn't seem all that interested in his very runny rice cereal. He tolerated the spoon quite nicely and even helped me on occasion then wanted to just grab the bowl, as if the slow pace was boring him.

Here are some photographs. We have a video too but it is quite long so I'll work on editing that over the weekend...
