Mid December

We've been wanting to go down to the Trail of Lights in Austin, but with baby girl the last couple of years, it just makes for a super late night. So on December 14th we did the Round Rockn' Lights Tour for the first time, instead. It was pretty neat and from the comfort to our own vehicle.
There was some question in our car about the lack of modesty of this fellow.
Giant Nativity display.
Autumn sat in the front seat with me so she could see better.
At the end of the lights tour there is a tunnel of lights that goes over the road. The best way to show it was with video...

He thinks he's pretty cool. So does she.
Mud fixes everything.

Here's a video compilation of some of Autumn's fun and silly happenings over the past week or so...

One of her many fire trucks.
Playing "catch" with the car... one of her favorite games.
This was a "Mama, take our picture" moment. Autumn almost held out long enough for me to get my phone.
It looks like we may actually have a real winter this year. These are screen shots of the "feels like" temperature from the Weather App...

We introduced Autumn to The Polar Express this year. She was very interested. She hung in this suspended state over the top of Alan's chest nearly the whole time she watched, occasionally pointing at the TV and yelling in excitement...

After a year off, gingerbread made a comeback this year in our house. We started with two houses, two teams. Aaron and Daddy... Adam and Mama. It wasn't supposed to be a competition, but - good or bad, we know how to turn fun things into a competition with very little effort.
It wasn't long after this photo that the big boys' house succumbed to gravity. There was apparently due to some faulty gingerbread pieces.
Here's a post structural-failure video....
