Our Christmas 2015 - Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve morning started out cloudy and a little damp. But we were hopeful that the weather forecast was right for once and we went over to Berry Springs Park so Aaron could ride his bike a little.
Alan and Aaron.
The weather cleared up and it ended up being a beautiful morning... and even a little warm.

Adam chose not to bring his bike (with training wheels) and it was fine because we didn't yet know how that would pan out or if he would get frustrated and unable to keep up. So he walked with me and Autumn.
At one point Adam got frisky and without any communication took off on foot chasing Alan and Aaron on their bikes, and I could not catch him. I had to call Alan on his phone and get him to intercept Adam - it was nuts. We figured he sprinted close to a mile. When Alan asked him if he was okay he said, "well my side hurts a little but I knew I just had to keep going." Alright, now we really know what Adam is capable of.
Adam is in the bright blue shirt, way ahead of me.
A stop at the playground before we left.

That evening we went to the Christmas Eve service at our church.
Three kids... still hard to believe.
It was a surreal moment for me personally... Christmas always elicits a good deal of emotion, but sitting there with our three angels, feeling unbelievably blessed in nearly every way, and grateful for our Savior and what He's helped us to become... It was a sweet time for me as a Mama and a wife.
That night they wore their matching pajamas, drank hot chocolate and watched The Polar Express. I get excited about matching pajamas and plan to ride that wave until they strongly object later in life. I did not however consider the camouflage affect that the matching print would produce. It is a bit like an optical illusion.
A little video interview...
After the boys went to bed and we did our thing... we got creative with how best to "wrap" their Lego money....
