Christmas 2013: Part 2

We celebrated our family Christmas at home. We all had horrible allergy issues and were staying in to conserve our strength. Gingerbread houses seemed like a good activity. So on Christmas Eve day, we constructed a couple of buildings resembling gingerbread houses. As usual, Daddy and Adam worked together and Aaron and I. 

Adam always does better with an occupation... sorting candies into colors was the perfect job for him.

Aaron was my assistant.

New pj's on Christmas Eve! There is something truly wonderful about matching Christmas pajamas. I will keep it up as long as they will let me. Posers.

And something a little more natural.

Christmas Day would be packed with celebrating with family, gifts, eating etc. But first, before all of that, we had our little gift opening at our house. When the boys first woke up they dumped the contents of their stockings out on the floor and carefully examined everything.... 

Then we had breakfast... 

They were a lively bunch.

And after breakfast the boys distributed the gifts from under the tree and we did our best to take turns opening gifts...

Baby Adam is still the youngest in the room, so he got to go first. It was a long sleeved shirt that read "Greatest Little Brother." Awww.

The joint gift: Planes. They spent several minutes checking out the back of the dvd case. Planes is very serious business.

Aaron also got King of the Railway, the latest Thomas and Friends movie.

Yep, that's good, I think all of your teeth are showing now.

 A pretty classic kids Christmas morning video... 

While I started packing up last minute things for our trip to San Antonio, we let them watch their new Thomas movie. They don't often get to watch an entire movie at once, so this was a big deal.
