Nine years!

At the end of June, we celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary... As is our custom, we went out as a family in search of fun... First up was the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, in Austin...
A map, borrowed from the website. It's a pretty big place with room to grow.
My man of 9+ years consulting the literature.
My little men looking for trouble.
Aqueduct
They found a pond and wanted to throw things in it. It took us a while to convince them this was a nicer place and not a wild park-like place.
The cafe. Had we not had other lunch plans, it would have been a nice place to try. Maybe next time.
Still running and making too much noise. We kept trying to quiet them down, there were older people about and we were the only ones making an noise at all.
Their id was boiling over so much, it was almost tangible.
Always fixing something.
Cruising (running) for a bruisin'.
In trouble.
One of the green house areas. I borrowed this from the website because regular guests are not allowed to go back there.
Good little boys now.
Daddy was teaching them about bumble bees.
Not bad for an iPhone camera (my camera batteries died... I know, amateur mistake).
This is a little gallery area in the back.
Entrance to the observation tower.
Bottom side of the top of the tower.
View from inside the visitor's center.
Outside of the visitor center.

After the Wildflower Center, we had lunch at the Hula Hut, an old favorite that we'd not been to in a really long time. The boys enjoyed sitting out on the pier and watching the boats.
Unfortunately the fish no longer sprays water. But the ducks and turtles kept us entertained.
