Post Christmas trip to San Antonio

The day after Christmas we loaded up and headed to San Antonio to visit family... There was a little gift unwrapping...

Or rather a "large gift."

This box was full to the brim with tractors, home made blankets, pjs, and lots more. It was all the boys could do to hold it together.

The next day we met Alan's parents for dinner and then we walked around Bass Pro Shop, which always includes a stop at the shooting gallery.

There was some sleeping too...

The next day we went to Fiesta Texas. It is so fun to take our boys there since it was such a significant part of our (Alan and my) story. Aaron loves to learn about "Grandpa's work" and see what it looks like at Christmas time. Plus Adam was tall enough to ride more rides this year, which he was pretty excited about.

Then we took to the flying and spinning vegetables...

Aunt Donna came with us. She's not scarred.

Aaron asked Uncle Matt to ride the Kiddie Coaster with him. They had to wait in a bit of a line...

Then, despite my better judgement, I rode the swings with the younglings. Ever since having two babies, I am very prone to motion sickness. We all survived unscathed and I must admit it was fun.

The boys started to get tired and grumpy so we would be heading out very soon.

But we caught one last ride on the Carousel, which children of all ages enjoyed immensely (Robin, Patrick and Uncle Matt).
