Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house...
Playing at home. Adam had just started pulling up on things...
His best intimidation face and fingers in his mouth, as usual...he is cutting more teeth. For about a two week period, Aaron was asking to go to sleep earlier for both nap and bedtime. He loves to sleep.
Waiting for his very first serving of toast...
In order to get the toast in your mouth you must first squeeze it in your fist until it is mush, shove your entire fist in your mouth, then open your fist. If you are lucky, a small sopping crumb may land on your tongue.

My friend Courtney and her beautiful baby boy, Landry, came to visit us...

The second we set Adam down anywhere, and especially in his playpen, he pulls up and starts jumping around while making monkey noises. This is his new outlet for creative frustration and he seems to be less grumpy now.
Case in point: he is letting people hold him for more than forty-five seconds now. He has even realized that Grandpa is a pretty nice guy...

Snuggling with Daddy...

A couple of weeks ago we went out to a beautiful ranch in Boerne for a friend's barbecue. Here is Alan and Adam with one of the hostesses, Carrie. Aaron loved running around and watching the big kids play. The weather was perfect and the food was great!
The following day we took a long car ride to Austin. Here's little prince number one sprawled out on his throne.
Different morning, same warm chest. This view right here, is what I live for :)
Playing with Granny...
Alan was on shift this Thanksgiving so the boys and I loaded up and went over to my parents for dinner. My sister and her husband were in town and Adam was incredibly cooperative the entire night... he even let Aunt Jenny snuggle for close to ten minutes! Had he not had a stinky diaper, I don't think she would have let him go :)

Eating a little bit of squash and a whole lot of fingers.
