Enchanted Rock

On Thursday we went hiking at Enchanted Rock for a few hours. It was gorgeous weather and there was hardly anyone there. Due to my "condition" (out-of-shapeness), and Alan with a toddler on his back we decided against our normal route of up the rock and down the backside and around and stuck to just hiking around the rock. We stopped in the middle at the pond so that Alan could fish for a bit, then continued on. Aaron seemed to enjoy himself, which was not at all surprising, considering he loves being outside, bouncing, his Daddy, and being taller than me.

My boys gazing out over the pond. Note the pretty blue sky, which turned to dense cloud cover in about a twenty minute time period, as the front moved in... According to Alan, these are my sporty Mommy pictures. I was just trying to a) document my fast growing belly (and everything else for that matter) and b) provide proof of my making the effort. The closest thing to a family shot that we could muster...Aaron and Daddy enjoying the playground before we headed out, trying to stretch out the Little Man's legs prior to the ride home...
A brief documentation of the event. Don't mind my lack of breath - I wasn't warmed up yet and still trying to catch up...
