The Pee Pee Monster Returns

Yesterday I got peed on, twice. It has been quite a while since Aaron has "open-air" peed, so I guess he had to make up for lost time. I haven't been too concerned about leaving him uncovered recently because I thought he was over it, so yesterday when I turned to throw a diaper away and heard him instantly start giggling, I knew he was up to no good. The utterly hilarious thing about the latest occurrences is how funny he thinks it is. I just try to stop the puddling and attempt, with little success, to not positively reinforce peeing for entertainment by laughing wildly. But as I said, it is to no avail - he cracks me up.

Then again last night, we were in the middle of a feeding and he had been cranky for a while. He was vocalizing his disagrement (aka yelling), for being sat on the table for a quick diaper change. It was a little chilly so I was trying to work fast but those wretched Velcro tabs kept getting tied up or breaking. So he laid there using baby fowl language at me and I wrestled with the diaper and then suddenly he starts laughing, five-year-old style. I knew it could not be good. In the two seconds it took me to evaluate the situation, he was laying in his own puddle and still laughing to the point of hiccups. Of course at that point I too could do nothing but laugh and call for back up. Alan had to come keep him from rolling off the table so that I could collect myself and get new pjs, new diaper, new towel to lay on the table, new blanket and burp cloths - because everything was covered in pee.
