In motion

Aaron is officially on the move. He no longer drags his long torso around on the ground - he is up on all fours and we finally have some documentation. He has been at it for almost two weeks now, but I just haven't gotten around to taking a video - and a still photo doesn't really cut it with this sort of thing...

He has also begun to pull himself up on anything in his reach, making all sorts of mischief. It is somewhat funny (for the time being) because you can see in his face that he knows that he is being silly and potentially doing something that he shouldn't, as he looks back to see if we're watching him. Then if I accidentally acknowledge his devious ways, he'll revel for a bit by bouncing and hollering.

This series of video and photos is from Sunday. I was cleaning out the pantry and making baby food and Aaron was serving as my in-house entertainment... or it could have easily been vice versa, anyway - we were equally distracting each other....

Notice how he stands on his toy to achieve a better reach. Also note the floor, success!

He is so proud of himself.

I think Tatum and Aaron are on the same schedule. She started all these new "fun" movements almost on the exact days Aaron did. Boy life is different now at the Zeller house! It's also more active and I love that she can be so independent and get to what she wants. You're so smart to have the play pen. I needed to have started that a long time ago. She'll go nuts if I tried to put her in there now. Instead, she's covered in dog and cat hair, playing in the dog's water, and getting into EVERYTHING I never thought she would. :) We should meet at the Vistro some weekend for lunch! It would be fun to get the babes together and catch up! I think I already told you, but Zach is a volunteer firefighter here in Wimberley and I know he would love talking with Alan. His dream job is to be a "real" firefighter. Hope all is well! It's so fun watching Aaron grow up!
