Friday was Aaron's first experience in the swimming pool. My parents pool has an elevated spa area that makes for a perfect "kiddie area," so Alan and I stripped him naked and dipped him in the water a little deeper each time. He was not scared and his grip on my arm eased up after a few minutes. I swished him around butt-naked for a while and then my mom brought out a baby floaty and we experimented with that. It was similar to what I imagine a paparazzi event would look like, everyone had their cameras out and trying to get Aaron to look in their direction. Aside from the occasional sun in his eyes, he seemed to be enjoying himself.
