On Friday we ran a couple of errands and wound up walking around La Cantera, it was such a pretty day, we couldn't pass it up. The only thing I purchased was this adorable hat, for Aaron of course. He wore it while we were outside yesterday and seems to be getting used to it.
Yesterday he met his Aunt Amy for the first time. Amy and Brandon came over last night for a couple of hours to see how this whole baby operation runs. They are expecting a little girl at the beginning of July. It will be neat for Aaron to have a cousin so close in age and location. Aaron played his usual politican act while they were over. Cute smiling faces, cooing, and only fussed a tiny bit.
I shouldn't say that, he's generally a very "good" baby. When fussing does occur, it is for a reason and I am getting a lot better at reading his cries and providing for him, thanks to a book recomended by a friend of mine called "The Secrets of a Baby Whisperer," by Tracy Hogg. It helps new moms to understand the difference between cries and how to communicate with your baby, even though they cannot yet speak to you, well in the adult sense of the word. Speaking of communicating, I'm off to hone my skills.
