Well here are a couple of pictures... one of Aaron and me, so you can see what we look like and how my recovery is going (breastfeeding is the best weightloss program). The other picture is one that Alan took during his first real bath. It is quite difficult to believe that our little blessing is two weeks old. A lot has happened since the last posting. His cord stump fell off so we have started taking baths - which is a lot of fun. Aaron greatly enjoys it, he lays there and soaks up the servicing. We have been out in the car a couple of times, just him and me. I set up my mirror system and thankfully he likes his car seat and seems to be content while riding in the car.
He is feeding much better these days and that is evident in his developing fat rolls. I know now, after experiencing it - that those are good signs that he is gaining the necessary weight and is a healthy baby.
We've started taking slow walks in the neighborhood and he seems to enjoy that as well. Plus the weather has been fantastic, so I soak up the sunshine.
This week we are going to visit Daddy at work (photography work, not firestation in Austin), possibly make our first trip to the grocery store, and keep on feeding, napping, and enjoying this time.
